It is made from real glass beads and its unique visual effect, reminiscent of condensation on cold glass, is best seen in thin film layers which cause the individual layer of glass beads to be illuminated against a light background. The glass bead gel can appear very similar to Coarse Pumice Gel or Clear Granular Gel when mixed with enough paint that the glass beads are not visible.
